After having to scrap the 2020 vintage from its Hunter Valley vineyards due to smoke taint from the bushfires, Tyrrell’s Wines was thrilled to receive the Gourmet Traveller WINE‘s Cellar Door Award – Readers’ Choice Award. This award has been initiated by Vintec (makers of wine cabinets) in conjunction with Gourmet Traveller WINE‘s Cellar Door Awards.
In the April/ May edition of Gourmet Traveller WINE readers were asked to nominate their favourite cellar door in their home State, and explain what they love about it. Tyrrell’s Wines was the “most nominated” for this award in NSW.
